South Australia Police (SAPOL) and TAFE SA employees will join other public sector employees who have already migrated to the CHRIS 21 Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
Shared Services SA is working closely with SAPOL to transition approximately 6,000 employees from its existing in-house HRMS to CHRIS 21. System testing and other preparation activities are nearing completion and Go-Live is scheduled for 16 October 2017.
Concurrently, Shared Services SA has been working with TAFE SA to migrate approximately 3,000 employees from the Empower HRMS to CHRIS 21. Preparations are on track to achieve a Go-Live date of 6 November 2017.
Earlier in the year, Payroll Reform completed the migration of approximately 70,000 employees from legacy versions of CHRIS to the new, consolidated CHRIS 21 environment.
The transition of SAPOL and TAFE SA, will further simplify and standardise the public sector’s payroll operations.
