Port Adelaide Transition

Following extensive planning, approximately 170 Shared Services SA staff from a number of service delivery areas recently relocated to new accommodation at Port Adelaide.
The following teams relocated over the course of May and June 2018:
  • Accounts Payable - Payments, Review and Vendor Maintenance
  • Accounts Receivable - Invoicing and Receipting
  • Financial Operations - Tax Advisory, Tax Operations and Financial Integrity.

Feedback regarding the new accommodation at Port Adelaide has been positive and many employees are already embracing the culture by taking lunchtime walks to explore the new environment.

The Government has recently announced that all remaining Department of Treasury and Finance staff located in Westpac House will also be relocating to Port Adelaide over the next six months.  This includes Financial Accounting, the Accounts Payable Document Capture Team, Business Systems and Performance, Work Injury Services and the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer.
Staff consultation and planning activities for this move have recently commenced. In the interim it will be business as usual for the relocating groups and there are no changes to current contact details.
